Rehomed – Our success stories

Abe

Abe has found a new forever home and has settled in well. He has gone to a lovely home in Wales and his new owners recently lost their 14-year-old German Shepherd so Abe will get lots of love and affection. We wish him and his new owners all the very best.

He is a short coat liver and tan, entire male with a very sincere, gentle and caring nature. Although he is a big boy with a very masculine head, he is excellent with children and he is not an outdoor boy or a guard dog. He is a loving pet that is used to being in the house with a family and his personality is 100% trustworthy. He is gentle and honest and so calm.

Abe would settle at home either as the only dog or with a female companion. He is keen to please and would enjoy long family walks and adventures. He is searching for a forever home, as hard times have forced his owner into this decision. Abe was being fostered by his breeder, who lives in Whalley Bridge.

Alice 2013

Alice has found a new forever home with a lovely couple from Sandbach, Cheshire and their dog, a German Shepherd X Golden Retriever.

Alice is searching for a new home.

She is an 8-month-old (March 2013)  black and tan short coat girl with a superb, kind and gentle nature.

Her male owner has just undergone major hospital surgery and the family is not in a position to give Alice the care that she deserves.

Alice 2019

Alice has now found a new friend to play with as she settles down to a new life living in Tipton, Sandwell, West Midlands.

We wish Alice and her new owner, Karl, a very happy partnership.

Good Luck

Alice is a very kind and sweet-natured, 6-year-old, spayed, short coat, black and tan female who gets on well with people and other dogs.

Alice is the daughter of Buzz (Rockforce) and the great-granddaughter of Vadar (Rockforce).

Unfortunately, Alice is looking for her 3rd home as her first owners, reluctantly had to find her a new home, due to serious health issues and now Alice finds herself in an even worse dilemma as her female owner, who only recently lost her own husband, is now in a hospice herself with only a limited time of her own life left.

Poor Alice is once again, ‘Home Alone’, and is desperate to find herself a permanent home with someone to love her as much as her previous owners did.

Alice is a house dog, through and through, and would not do well living outside. She doesn’t ask for much other than a kind hand and a place to sleep. She would be best suited in an older children environment or with a retired person/s who can lavish affection on her. She is very good health.

Alice is in temporary foster care so to learn more about her, please contact the sister of Alice’s owner:

Astra

A BIG thank you to John Bradshaw, a retired police dog handler from Greater Manchester, and his wife Val from Wigan, Lancashire who have taken Astra into their hearts and she is now in a forever home with them.

Good luck to them all especially her breeder, Mrs Lorraine Connors, we are all rooting for you.

Astra is a beautiful two-and-a-half-year-old, long-coat sable girl with a lovely, sweet personality.

She is searching for a loving forever home due to her owner having ill health. Astra would be better suited in a quiet home without another dog and young children. She would not suit living outdoors as she has a very gentle and caring soul and would fret without human company.

Astra is a woman’s dog and she is devoted and loyal, she would love to go on long walks and just be someone’s true companion and soul mate.

Please be respectful of her owners illness and only genuine callers would be gratefully appreciated.

Astra lives in Exeter, Devon and to learn more about her please contact her loving owner:

Bailey
Great News!

Hurray !!! Bailey has, at last, found a superb home with a special couple near Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire. The couple, Glen and Hayley are making great progress with Bailey and he is happy in his second loving home.

It is a long way from the 5 months that he spent in kennels and we wish him, and his new owners, the very best for a fabulous future together. His previous owners also send their grateful and heartfelt thanks.

Bailey was searching for an urgent forever home. His owners had hit on hard times and had to move into rented accommodation. They had been searching, in their local area, for a place that would allow them to take their 2 boys, Jaxon and Bailey, with them.

For the last 5 months the breeders of Jaxon, who run a kennel establishment, had taken the two dogs into their care, free of charge, whilst the couple tried to find a suitable home, but this was all in vain.

Jaxon had been found a super home in Shropshire with a lady who had plenty of time to spend on Jaxon and her horses.

We had first-hand experience that Bailey is not very sociable with other dogs within a pack environment, so he was searching for an experienced GSD home that has no other dogs so that he can be introduced to other dogs slowly.

He is definitely a ‘person dog’ and his tail never stops wagging.

Bailey – a beautiful boy!

Bailey is the son of Vadar and the grandson of Saxon. He is a very active and healthy 4-year-old who would love a very special family to take good care of him as he has lost his loving family and his best mate, Jaxon through no fault of his own.

He is kind and very loyal and would suit an active family who has plenty of time and love to offer him. He is very trustworthy and has been used to children. He will need a little patience with lead walking, as he hasn’t been used to being on a lead as he lived in a house with a very large garden and open spaces where he wasn’t in need of any lead restrictions.

Just look into his gorgeous eyes and you can see how gentle his soul is. Can anyone give him the love and devotion that he has been used too?

Bailey is currently in the kennels at Warburton, Cheshire and to learn more about him, please contact; Alan and Alison Edwards at Reedhouse Kennels:

Bella
BELLA HAS GONE TO LIVE WITH MIKE NEAR MACCLESFIELD, CHESHIRE AND IS SETTLING IN WELL TO COUNTRY LIFE.
GOOD LUCK TO THEM BOTH.

Bella is a beautiful, dark, Black and Tan, long coat girl who is searching for a forever home.

Bella is the daughter of Logan (Rockforce) and the granddaughter of Cruz (Rockforce) and she’ll be 1 year old in April.

She is a very kind, sweet natured and intelligent girl who just wants to please.

Bella has always lived happily with her owners adult male German shepherd and a young female English Bulldog however, Bella has recently taken a disliking to the female Bulldog and has started to bully and pick fights with her to such an extent that it has now forced her owner to make the heartbreaking decision to let her go.

Bella is still a young puppy at heart and does get excited when out walking.

She needs someone who has knowledge of the breed and is able to put the time in to teach her lead manners as she can be giddy on the lead.

Bella is searching for a forever home as the only dog in the household or with an older male dog

She is not good with cats as she loves to chase them.

There are breeding restrictions on her which won’t be lifted by her breeder.

Bella is a family pet only, she is not a guard dog and she wouldn’t cope living in an outside kennel.

Bella lives at Solihull, The West Midlands and to learn more about her please contact her breeder:

Billy
Billy has gone to a new forever home at Totton in The New Forest and has settled in well.
Good Luck Billy and have lots of fun.

Billy is a super young, dark long coat boy who is searching for an experienced forever home.

He is the son of Kraka (Rockforce) and Tisa, a long coat German show line girl.

Billy was born on Tuesday 22nd July 2021.

He has been returned to Tisa’s breeder through no fault of his own. He is fun-loving, quick to learn and eager to please. Billy would do well with owners who have a full understanding of a German shepherd puppy’s needs and who will provide leadership.

He will excel with owners who are willing to focus on firm but, kind training methods.

Billy is fully vaccinated, crate and house trained and travels well in the car.

He is presently living at Warminster, Wiltshire and to learn more about this gorgeous boy please contact:

Blaze
BLAZE HAS GONE TO LIVE WITH NEIL AND ALEXANDRA AND THEIR 3 SONS NEAR EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND.
BLAZE HAS A 20 ACRE DOG-FRIENDLY GARDEN TO PLAY IN AND HE’S HAVING LOTS OF FUN TIME.
BEST WISHES TO YOU ALL ❤️

Blaze is searching for a new forever home, through no fault of his own, as a change in family circumstances has forced his owners to make the hard decision to find him a loving new home.

Blaze was born in May 2019 to Bandit (Rockforce) and Storm (Fieldblaze). His mum Storm is the daughter of Tazar (Rockforce).

Blaze is an oversized, entire, long coat, sable male with a calm disposition. He is a sensitive dog and prefers to introduce himself to people rather than them forcing themselves on him.

He has always lived with another Fieldblaze dog and is easy going around other dogs however, their owners would prefer him not to go to a family who have young children/teenagers as he prefers a quieter life.

He travels well in a car and is fed on a raw diet.

Blaze would not be suitable as a guard/an outside dog as he needs the same love, and security, that he has been used too with his family.

There are breeding restrictions on him which won’t be lifted by his breeders.

Blaze is searching for an experienced GSD owner/s, preferably an active retired, young at heart couple, or a single household person who can spend time with him and fulfil his needs.

Blaze lives just outside Huddersfield, Yorkshire and to learn more about him please contact his breeder:

ONLY SERIOUS ENQUIRIES PLEASE AS THIS IS A VERY DIFFICULT TIME FOR BOTH BLAZE AND HIS OWNERS.

Blue
Great News
Blue has a new forever home and a brand new name.
He has gone to live at a lovely home with 2 acres of land to play in with his new German shepherd friend, Oscar.
Good Luck to him.
If anyone in this location is searching for an older boy to love, then Blue is waiting for some good news.

Blue (formerly named Buster) is the son of our boy Jenson. He has lived with his family all his life but was segregated from the family’s children and he was only walked in the dark when no other dogs were around.

He was kept as protection for the female owner whilst her husband worked away from home, but as the two children have grown up, there appears to be no room for Buster and he was given up for re-home at the tender age of 7 years.

German Shepherd Rescue found Buster a new home and his new owner changed his name to Blue, but the relationship wasn’t to last and he has been returned to kennels in Crewe, Cheshire.

Blue is a powerful, giddy boy and is really bouncy and exuberant. He does need an owner who is experienced with strong males and has the time to love and cherish Blue, as that is all that he asks from anyone.

He is not at his best behaviour when he meets other dogs, but the volunteers have had him walking out with other German shepherds and he is fine.

There must be someone out there who could love Blue in his twilight years.

To learn more about Blue please contact:

Boo
BOO HAS GONE TO LIVE WITH LISA, AMOS, AND THEIR FAMILY, IN NORTHUMBERLAND.
SHE LOOKS AS THOUGH SHE HAS HER PAWS UNDER THE TABLE ALREADY.

Boo is a gorgeous black and tan, long-coat girl with a gorgeous disposition.

She is the daughter of Logan (Rockforce) and Sasha and she was born in early June 2022.

Sasha’s owner kept Boo from the litter and Boo has been a delightful puppy to raise however, as she has started to mature, she has become increasingly hostile towards her mum, Sasha as she tries to become top girl.

Sasha has been spayed and this has given Boo an advantage over her mum. Her owners have made the heart wrenching decision to re-home Boo before the trouble escalates into a fighting situation.

Boo is a very attentive and loving dog who loves everyone including, children, people and other dogs (off lead).

She can be reactive to dogs if she’s on a lead but, with the right training, this can be resolved.

Boo is raw fed and is fully vaccinated. She would suit living as a single dog within an energetic household or with a family/couple that can give her the attention that she adores. Boo would not suit living in a kennel and she is not a guard dog. There are breeding restrictions on her that won’t be lifted.

Boo lives at Bolton, Lancashire so, to learn more about her please contact her owner:

PLEASE, NO TIME WASTERS.

Bruce
Bruce (now named Cody) has gone to live with his new owner, Sue Ashley, near Macclesfield, Cheshire.
He will be trained for working trials.
Good Luck to them all.

Bruce is a gorgeous short-coat, black and tan junior pup who is extremely friendly and alert.

He is searching for a forever home with experienced handler/s or an active family, who will have time for him.

He was born on 3rd September 2021.

His mother, Mya, is an exceptionally well-bred, full working line, short coat, sable girl with impeccable manners and presence.

His dad is Cruz (Rockforce).

Bruce is hereditary clear for DM, PD (Dwarfism), Haemophilia and MDR1 (multi-drug resistance).

Bruce is great with other dogs and children but, requires some consistent training and ground rules.

He is extremely affectionate and clever but will need consistency in lead manners.

He has been returned to the breeder, through no fault of his own, as his previous owner had too much work commitment and was leaving him to his own devices.

Bruce is currently living at Rotherham, South Yorkshire, with the breeder, so to learn more about this super boy please contact:

Bruno
Great News
Bruno’s 2-week trial on a fabulous farm in Hapton, Lancashire was a great success. He has settled in well and he wishes you all a very Merry Christmas and he hopes 2013 will be as good a year for you as it looks like being for him!!
Meet Bruno! He is searching for a new forever home.

His previous owner reluctantly had to return him to the breeder as their family were dealing with a serious health problem with a close member of their family and young Bruno was being overlooked.

Bruno was only born in May 2012 and he is the son of our boy Buzz and Duffy.

He is a kind and caring boy who is eager to learn and please. He has no hang ups and will be extremely loyal and gentle. He gets on with other dogs, horses and children and he is looking for an active family for a lifetime of fun and frolics.

Bruno is living with his breeder in Buckinghamshire. To learn more about him please contact: Mrs. Nicola Berry Tel No: 07974 341 820

Nicola and her troop!

Bruno is the 3rd dog from the left and he is sitting next to his mum, Duffy, who is the next one along moving from left to right.

Cleo
On Saturday 17th February 2018, Cleo is finally heading off to her new forever home with James and his family.
We wish them all lots of fun and happiness together.

Bella has been reserved by the Shallcross family from Cheadle and has been given a new name of Cleo by James, who will be her main handler. Good luck to you all.

Bella is a very intelligent, sweet-natured, entire (Breeding Restrictions will NOT be lifted) Black and Tan, long-coat girl who is looking for a new home through no fault of her own.

She is the granddaughter of Woody (Rockforce) and the daughter of Cruz (Rockforce).

Her elderly owner is no longer able to keep up with her and she has reluctantly returned her to the breeder.

Bella is just an inoffensive, giddy 9-month-old puppy (Born April 2017) who is desperate to please but hasn’t been shown any consistent training.

She responds quickly if shown that she just wants to do it right.

Bella is extremely trustworthy and kind and is very confident with people and dogs, she would do very well with an experienced GSD family who can guide her as she does lack basic training.

Her elderly owner has loved her dearly but Bella needs a lot more out of life as she is up for fun, jumping in muddy puddles and generally being mischievous.

Bella would do well with an active outdoor type family or someone interested in starting in working trials/obedience as she is up for any challenge; a real adventurer.

She is currently residing in a kennel so is desperately in need of a stable, loving environment.

Bella is at Warburton, Dunham Massey, Cheshire and to learn more about her please ring her breeders:

Dexter
Great News
Dexter has found a loving family home in Derbyshire and settled in well.
Dexter is a 2 year old short coat, black and tan male and is the son of Buzz (Rockforce).

He is currently searching for a forever home due to the working commitments of his family.

He is house trained and lives with two children and is a happy and kind boy.

His family have not spent as much time as they could with training and, although he answers

to basic commands, he needs an experienced German shepherd owner who knows how to handle a bright and exuberant young dog.

He has “selected deafness” when it suits him so he will require further training and guidance.

He does not get on with cats and is wary of smaller dogs after being put in his place by one when he was younger.

Dexter is NOT a guard dog, or an outside dog, and would not fare well without the company of a loving family.

Dexter lives in Hales Owen on the outskirts of Birmingham and to learn more about this bright boy, please get in touch with his owner:

Diesel
Diesel has gone to live with Phil and Helen on the Isle of Man.
He has 2 acres of secure garden and easy access to acres and acres of moorland to roam in.
Have a great time Diesel ❤️

Diesel is a Black and Tan, long-coated happy-go-lucky male with oodles of personality and not a nasty bone in his body.

He is searching for a new forever home as his family’s situation has changed whereby they are no longer able to keep him.

Diesel was born on 9th October 2018 to Dolly and Cruz (Rockforce).

Diesel is the ‘Peter Pan of the Doggie World’, he is a real joker and he spreads happiness wherever he goes.

He is quite immature for his age which makes him very goofy and he can struggle to understand boundaries but, this makes him more appealing.

He is excellent around dogs and children but, he does have a tendency to become a ‘wild child’ in their company.

Diesel loves playing ball and is very affectionate and loyal.

He thrives on his tummy being tickled and being groomed.

He is not guard dog material and would not suit living outdoors in a kennel environment.

There are breeding endorsements on him that will not be lifted by the breeder.

Diesel is looking for active owner/s who can accept his goofiness and who have plenty of time to spend with him as he thrives on human company.

Diesel lives at Wallasey, Merseyside and to learn more about him, please contact his owner:

Fergus
Fergus has gone to live with Colin and Karenin Stockton-on-Tees

Fergus is desperately searching for a new forever home through no fault of his own.

He is deeply loved by his owner however, a recent change in family circumstances, and ill health, has forced her into making a heartbreaking decision.

Fergus is a wonderful, loving and caring entire, 5 year old, sable long coated male.

He is the son of Ekko (Rockforce) and the grandson of Tazar (Rockforce).

He was born on 28th March 2019 and he is a very fit and healthy well-adjusted dog who is so eager to please.

He has been raised with children, whom he adores, and loves being with people.

He enjoys the company of other dogs but, he isn’t pussy cat friendly.

His main pleasure is playing with a ball and being with people as he thrives on cuddles and attention.

Fergus would settle in quickly with a loving family or a retired outdoor-loving person/couple.

This is a heartbreaking situation for his owner, and her 2 children so please, only serious enquiries should apply.

Fergus is a house dog who craves human company so, he would not cope with living alone outside.

To find out more about Fergus please contact his owner:

He is the son of our boy Vadar and Mia and he is an extremely loving and loyal people’s dog.

Fletcher is fully house-trained and is good on the recall. He is good with his owner’s friend’s 3-year-old child, although he is not around children constantly.

Gino
Gino has gone to live with Karen and Doug, and their family, at Linlithgow, Scotland.
We wish them all the very best of luck, love and happiness.
This is from Karen and Doug:
Gino is settling in well with us, can’t believe he’s only been here 2 weeks. He is such a friendly dog and he loves interacting with you.
Gino is always happy and full of fun, he loves his walks and his games.
Being a typical German Shepherd if I’m in the toilet he’s in the toilet, if I’m in the washing machine he’s in the washing machine, very helpful?!
Our old dog and Gino have now become good friends. Life is never dull when he’s around!

Please Note:
Although Gino is not a Rockforce dog, he is the litter brother to Bandit, who is our latest stud dog, bred by Strettonhill GSD.
Even though he is searching for a new forever home, he is not free and is for sale.
Gino is an entire male however he cannot be used for breeding as there are restrictions on him, which his breeder will not lift.
The below description is written by his loving owner:

Gino is a bold, confident, friendly natured, intelligent 21 month old boy black and tan long coat who has great character, very handsome and is still entire.

He’s a big lad but still has some filling out to do.

He is a fast learner, always keen to work for you and very food-orientated so is easy to train/reward.

He would do cartwheels for food.

He likes to be engaged in play with us and we only allow toys at those times to reinforce it is more fun to be around us than anyone else (or any other dog).

He loves training where he has to ‘think’ and work things out for himself, e.g. boundary training where he’s to work out he needs to be on his mat/bed before he gets a reward.  He is very clever and picks this type of thing up quickly.

Only being 21 months he is still very playful and has a remarkable bond with our 4-year-old dog who he has great respect for and never pushes boundaries with him.

He has attended basic obedience classes where he did very well and was pretty much the star of the class, but I have mostly trained him myself out with the classes.

He is well-behaved in the house, fully house-trained, not destructive, crate-trained, no separation anxiety but he has the company of other dogs although in separate crates so don’t know what he’d be like as a lone dog.

He walks to heel well but early in the walk he is a bit eager/excited and will initially forge ahead but once he reaches the end of the lead he yields to lead pressure and returns to heel position.  This can go on for a few minutes but he knows what’s expected of him and he eventually settles down.

He is not one to pull you off your feet however unless you’re a confident handler and understand the technique there’s always the possibility he may pull if not told otherwise.  With consistency in the training, he will improve as he matures and settles down.

He has good recall but training is still ongoing with this around distractions, depending on how close the distraction is!

He is well-behaved and friendly when we meet other people on our walks and will sit patiently waiting if I’m having a conversation with them.

He can be excitable if we meet/pass other dogs but we use distraction techniques to keep his focus on us and this works well.  He is always on a lead when other dogs are around as the ones we meet are usually much smaller than him and we don’t take risks where he might engage in rough play and unintentionally cause injuries.

He has no issues going to the vets.  His inoculations are up to date and he has no underlying health issues.  He is used to being handled to get his nails trimmed and behaves well, although he rarely needs anything other than his dew claws trimmed due to wearing the others down naturally during play in our garden.

He loves mealtimes, he is currently on dry food (mostly Eden holistic Country Cuisine but currently trying him on Ci, the Tickety Boo grain free range which he is doing well on).  He will wait to be told he can have his food once the bowl is placed down, I’d like to say he waits patiently but there’s a lot of drooling and anticipation!

At the weekend he gets a couple of raw duck necks at lunchtime (not with his kibble) and also gets a raw marrowbone through the week from the butchers which helps keep his teeth clean, he has beautiful clean white teeth.

I have no concerns at all about his temperament with people. I am careful when our grandchildren are around as he can still get quite boisterous if the kids are running about, the kids are still quite small so we limit his time around them before it reaches that position.

Although he gets on well with our older dog he does not with our 2-year-old dog hence the reason we are looking to re-home this wonderful dog for the safety and happiness of both dogs.  For that reason, I would prefer him to go to a home where he’d be the only dog to avoid any future issues.

He would also do well for someone interested in doing some agility, tracking etc. but he’d be equally happy just being someone’s pet as long as he gets some work to do, e.g. brain games, enrichment activities etc.

Gino lives in Dunfermline, Fife. Scotland and to learn more about him, please get in touch with his owner:

Gunner
Gunner has gone to live with Mike at Sale, Cheshire and is having a fantastic time.
Have a wonderful life together.

Gunner is an oversized, long-coated sable male with impeccable manners.

He is both funny and calm and has such a gorgeous, biddable and goofy charm about him.

He was born in November 2018 and he is a very healthy and active dog.

Gunner is searching for an active home with either an experienced person/couple or a household with teenagers as he hasn’t been exposed to smaller children.

Gunner would be happy to live with a female dog but, not with a male as he can be quite reactive towards them.

He would make an excellent, laid back family pet.

Gunner lives at Huddersfield, West Yorkshire and to learn more about him please contact his breeder/keeper:

Harley
Harley has gone to live with Sue and her family, in Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire and she is getting used to Sue’s prize chickens.
Harley has settled in well and is now called Hollie.

Harley is a black and tan, heavy-coat girl with oodles of personality who is searching for a forever home after being returned to her breeder through no real fault of her own.

She was born on 15th September 2017 and is the daughter of Phoenix and Cruz.

Harley is a very happy and friendly girl with lots of drive for her ball and food.

She would do extremely well in an environment where she could use her brains and energy, especially agility or fly ball.

She is not a sit at home type of dog as she is extremely active.

Harley would be best suited on a One to One basis and without any other household pets to distract her.

She would happily work hard with the right guidance.

Harley is a house dog and would not suit living alone out doors in a kennel situation and she certainly isn’t a guard dog.

She is searching for an experienced handler, who understands her active mind and can work on her recall and general obedience skills.

Harley would repay her new owner with loyalty, love and devotion.

Please do not consider Harley if your household work all day or you are a first time German shepherd owner as she would not be suitable for either of these environments.

She needs time to develop her skills and training ability with someone who can give their time to her as she is still very young and immature and therefore could be quite a challenge.

Harley is presently living with her breeder at Olney, Buckinghamshire and to learn more about her please contact:

Hattie
Hattie has now gone to her new home in Gloucester with Dave and Lu and their 3 sons Charlie, Alfie and Tom and their beautiful German shepherd Max, who is now madly devoted to Hattie.
We wish them all lots of giggles and cuddles for a happy future together.

Hattie is a very bright and happy dark Black and Tan, long-coat girl who has been returned to her breeder through no fault of her own.

Her owners were forced to return her due to ill health and ongoing hospital attendance.

Hattie is the daughter of Zeta and Bandit and she soon settled in well at her new home and was quickly housed trained and responding to basic commands.

Hattie is a little bit quiet and confused since returning to her breeder and needs to find a new forever quite quickly.

She would suit and busy and noisy household as she just loves fuss and attention.

Hattie is back with her mum Zeta at Middlewich, Cheshire and to learn more about her please, contact her breeder:

Hudson
Hudson has finally been able to leave the confines of Scotland and is starting a new adventure with his newfound family down in The Midlands.
Tina, and her beautiful granddaughter Aurora, have fallen in love with Hudson and even their older rescue boy, Sir Monty, has given him a growl of approval too.
We hope that you all have lots of fun together xxx

Hudson is a 6-year-old castrated, bi-coloured, long-coat male with a very outgoing nature who is searching for a forever home through no fault of his own.

He is the son of Ekko (Rockforce).

Hudson’s passion in life is going for long walks and playing with his ball, although his greatest love is cuddling up with soft teddy bears.

He walks well on the lead, but can sometimes tend to bark at other dogs.

Hudson is presently being cared for by his owner’s parents who have a German shepherd of their own however, his owner would prefer that he be the only dog of the household.

Hudson is preferably searching for an active outdoor type of person/couple that may have older children/grandchildren as he may not be comfortable around noisy, busy youngsters.

All Hudson wants to do in life is to go for nice walks, to live a quiet and relaxed life because he isn’t a demanding dog.

Only genuine enquiries please as this is a very distressing time for Hudson’s owner (and his parents).

Hudson is currently living near Edinburgh, Scotland and to learn more about him, please contact his owner:

Hugo
Hugo has gone to live, on a smallholding, in Norfolk with an experienced GSD owner.

Hugo is a very handsome, 2-year-old,  short coat black and tan male and is the son of Cruz (Rockforce) and Mabel.

Unfortunately, Hugo is searching for a new forever home as his owners are expecting a new family addition and they are unable to give Hugo the attention that he deserves.

Hugo is searching for an experienced handler who fully understands the German shepherd dog traits and a home without children.

Hugo is a very loyal and devoted dog and is protective of his home when strangers approach however, he is extremely friendly once introduced.

He loves cuddles and playing ball and is always eager to please.

He loves human interaction and is obedient with a good level of commands.

He loves doing tricks, like playing dead and rolling over and he is fully house-trained.

Hugo can be quite boisterous and still jumps and lunges when in a high state of play.

He will need some experienced guidance as he is not good with visiting the vet.

Hugo is a family pet and will not be sold as a guard dog and he will not live outside in a kennel environment.

He is an indoor dog only and is a very ‘people’ dog.

Please do not apply to meet Hugo if you have not had any experience with German shepherd dogs.

Hugo lives at Frinton on Sea, Essex and to learn more about him please contact his owners:

Jazz
Great News
Beautiful Black Jazz finds a new home!!
Jazz has gone to a trial new home in Somerset and is settling in very well. We will keep you posted about his progress.
This is Jazz, he is an 18-month-old all-black castrated male who is searching for a forever home.

He is not from Rockforce stock, however, his mother (Ebony) is from the same lineage as my first stud dog, Saxon, and my other two living boys, Vadar and Woody. His father (Sonny) is from Foxfold working kennels and he is also a very kind and placid dog.

Jazz is a gentle giant of a boy and he has been returned to his breeder as his owner has reported that he has been showing aggressive tendencies towards other children other than the 3 children that he lived with.

The breeder has carefully introduced her children to Jazz without a single hint of any issues and she has a feeling that the dog has been raised as a continuous puppy instead of them setting his boundaries as he has developed. His breeder states that he is so calm and gentle and he just wants to please, he is a happy and loving boy.

We are searching for experienced people who understand German Shepherds and would prefer a household without children. He is a massive boy with a kind and gentle heart and he is desperate to find another loving home. He is good with other dogs and does not show any signs of fear or aggression towards them.

His breeder lives in Shrewsbury, Shropshire and she is looking for £300 for him.

If you are interested in viewing Jazz, please email me with your telephone number and I will gladly arrange a viewing with him.

Lady
Lady and Zia have gone to their new, forever home, with Colin, and his family, from East Sussex.
Lady has gone to live with David and Doreen in East Sussex.
She looks very settled and relaxed. Good Luck to them all.

Lady is a rich black and gold, substantial long-coat female with the most delightful, gentle and extra calm nature.

She is very confident and trustworthy.

Lady was born in May 2015 and was bred by her present owner however, due to a family change of circumstances, she is now searching for a forever home.

She is very good with children and is extremely obedient.

She can be dominant around other confident females as she has always been in a position of authority.

She has been health tested and has a hip score of 12 and elbows 0 and, although she is still entire, she will not be released as a breeding female.

Lady would suit an active family where she is the only female.

However, she is very attached to her daughter, Zia, who is also searching for a forever home. (See separate advert).

She is a family pet only and is NOT suitable as a guard dog.

Lady is not from Rockforce breeding however, by clicking on the below website her parents are Titan and Honey can be viewed.

Lewis
Great News
Lewis has found a fabulous forever home in a 16th-century cottage close to Manchester Airport.
He now lives with his new owners, Brad and Sarah and their grown-up son Brandon.
His bezzie mate is a short-haired Jack Russell called Buster, who believes that he is a German Shepherd dog who needs leg extensions.
He is very happy and photos of them all will be added soon.
Lewis is a heavy-coated, 19 months old, dark sable, entire, male and is the son of Purdy and our boy Tazar.

He is very energetic and playful and is trustworthy around children and other dogs. He is obedient and loves his walks and also lots of human attention.

He follows commands from the owner’s 5-year-old son and just loves to please. He is fully vaccinated and microchipped.

His owners have had to make the hard decision to find him a new home through the pressures of extra long working hours to cover rising costs, so they no longer have the time to spend with Lewis, who craves love and attention.

Lewis is fully house-trained and would not suit living alone outdoors, he is a family pet and would thrive in an active family environment. There are breeding restrictions on him and his owners are looking for a small monetary fee for him.

Lewis lives in Yeovil, Somerset and to learn more about him please contact his owners:

Lewis
Great News
Lewis has gone on a 2-week trial to live with his new companion, Mike Richardson, at Bosley near Macclesfield, Cheshire.
Best wishes to them both.

Lewis is once again searching for a forever home.

He was previously advertised for re-home when he was younger, but Lewis is now in boarding kennels and once again desperately searching for a very active home. (Previous accordion item).

Lewis is the son of Tazar (Rockforce) and was born in August 2012.

He is an entire, dark sable long-coat boy with lots of spirit and is a Peter Pan of the dog world.

He originally lived with a young family in Yeovil, Somerset however, due to increased work commitments, the family were forced to find him a new home.

Lewis moved to Manchester to live with his new family Brad and Sarah, where he has lived for the last 3 years, but they have found Lewis such a free-spirited boy that they feel that he needs more than they can offer him.

He is good with other dogs and people and walks well on the lead however, Lewis needs lots of stimulation or mental challenges/activities to keep his mind occupied.

He is a house dog and would not be suitable living out in a kennel environment however, he certainly is an outdoor type of dog, who would love nothing more than to interact with his new handler if they too had an outdoor career.

Lewis would not suit a sedentary type of life where his new owners went out to work all day, he is a very active, bright and loving boy, who would enjoy the outdoors with human company.

Lewis is looking for someone to be his “mate”, to be a constant companion and best friend too.

Lewis is now in a local boarding kennel but he will not do well in that type of environment, so needs to find a suitable home very quickly.

Please do not apply for him unless you have some knowledge of German shepherds and understand that Lewis needs freedom and love.

There will be a small monetary fee to cover the boarding kennels costs.

To learn more about him please get in touch with his owner:

Lexi
‘Lexi’ has gone to her forever home with Sean and Wendy, and their silver sable GSD, ‘Doofus’ in Hampshire.

Lexi has been given the new name of ‘Trouble’ and she has really settled in with her and ‘Doofus’ becoming best buddies.

‘Trouble’ has already attended a doggie training class where she met an older half-brother, ‘Bobby’.

Both ‘Trouble’ and ‘Bobby’ are out of Cruz (Rockforce).
We wish ‘Trouble’, ‘Doofus’, and their human parents, a very happy future together xx

Lexi is a beautiful sable (she will grow darker) long-coat puppy with a very gentle and sweet nature.

She is the daughter of Cruz (Rockforce) and Ripley, who is the daughter of Tazar and the granddaughter of Woody ( both Rockforce).

Ripley has a hip score of 7 and is DM clear which, makes Lexi DM clear by parentage.

She gets on with the breeder’s cat, their other dogs and sheep and she is house-trained.

Lexi was born on Saturday 13th March and went to her new home 8 weeks later however, she has been returned to her breeder through no fault of her own.

Lexi is searching for a forever home, with an experienced GSD family, who will give lots of love and attention in a stable and happy environment.

Lexi is back home, with her mum and litter sister, whom the breeder kept from the litter, near Knighton, Powys, Mid Wales so, to learn more about her, please contact her breeder:

Loki
Just a week on and this boy has been transformed.
He has been to the groomers and has been spruced up, feet hair and nails trimmed, he looks a picture of big loveliness.
He is all dressed up for The Royal Wedding, how gorgeous is this photo? It’s worth a million hugs.

Great News

On Saturday 12th May 2018, Loki headed off for his new life, near Blackpool, with Gill and Russ. They have previously owned a Rockforce dog called Mocha. He has now been given a new name of Koda, which means “Little Bear”.

Good Luck to all 3 of them.

Loki is a large, handsome, black and tan 3.5-year-old, long-coat, castrated male who is very affectionate and kind and has a lovely, gentle nature.

He is great around children, travels well in a car and loves being groomed.

He is very much a person dog as he loves company.

He shows no signs of aggression but he does lack self-confidence.

Loki is the grandson of Woody (Rockforce) and the son of Tazar (Rockforce).

A change of circumstances for his second owners have now forced them to make a painful decision to find him yet another forever home.

Loki hasn’t had the best of starts as he spent the first 2 years with a family who locked him away a lot and didn’t spend time socialising him.

He is presently left for many hours and this is having an adverse effect on him.

He is desperately searching for a home with a family member who either works from home or are retired, so they can spend lots of time with him.

Loki needs a home where his new owners have a good understanding of the GSD breed and he would best suit being the only dog in the home.

He is definitely NOT a guard dog and wouldn’t cope with living outside in a kennel.

Loki is a strong dog and it is recommended that an “Ancol” Happy at Heel, (side Harness) is used to walk him.

Loki lives in Droitwich, Worcestershire and to learn more about him please contact his breeder:

She is searching for a new home because of long term ill health within her human family.

Mable is a very loyal dog who loves human interaction.

She is not guard dog material and needs to be in a quiet family environment.

Mable is an entire female so she will not come with her KC papers until veterinary proof is produced to certify that she has been spayed.

Mable lives at Wakefield, West Yorkshire

Monte
Great News
Monte has gone to an experienced handler known to his breeder, Brenda Fox (Foxfold) and he seems to have settled himself down nicely.

There is always a special bond between a man and his dog and there is no exception in this case. Kevin and Monte have been together since the start and recently, Monte has shared some really sad times with his best mate and, together, they have pulled through. However, because of the tough times, Kevin has had to work longer hours to accommodate the changes in his life which means that Monte is left alone for very long periods of time. Kevin has now had to make another life-changing decision and that is to find Monte a forever-loving home where he will be cherished, loved and walked. This is not an easy decision and the right family/couple will have to prove that they will love Monte in the same way that Kevin has for the last 5 years.

Monte is a 5-year-old black and tan long-coat male, who is fully house-trained and is excellent with other dogs, children and livestock. Monte lives in Carlisle, Cumbria and is used to long country walks and is not used to being left alone all day.

Kevin is searching for an active older couple who enjoy long walks, or a busy family with older children, where Monte can run and have lots of fun. Monte is not from Rockforce stock, he was bred by Brenda and Tony Fox from Foxfold German shepherds in Yorkshire and they too, are eager to find Monte a loving home.

If a couple/family are willing to consider giving Monte a new home please complete the email contact form on the Rockforce web page leaving your contact telephone number and a brief description of your home circumstances and we will gladly contact you to discuss Monte’s future needs.

Nadia
Great News
Nadia has now gone to a forever home in Warrington, Cheshire. Her new owner Ken, who has recently retired, travelled up to Aberdeen on Saturday, February 4 in appalling weather conditions.

He set off at 5.30 in the morning and arrived home safely at 11.00 in the evening, just as the M6 motorway was closed, due to the severe weather conditions.

Nadia took to Ken immediately and we are sure that they will both be very happy together. Join us in wishing them both well for their new life together.

Nadia had been searching for an active forever-loving home. She is the Granddaughter of our fabulous Vadar.

It is with great sadness that her owner had to make the painful decision of finding her a new home as he has recently undergone major back surgery which has left him with nerve damage in his legs. He is no longer mobile and can only get around with the aid of walking sticks.

Nadia is a very affectionate two-and-a-half-year-old girl with a gentle and kind nature. She is well-socialized, very obedient and walks to heel on a lead. She is totally trustworthy in the lead, but she has high energy and drive and would do well in competitions. She has already gained her Gold Standard Kennel Club Good Citizens award.

Nellie
Nellie has found a loving home through “The Veterans Association” and she has gone to live with an ex military man, in Yorkshire, who has recently lost his dog.

Good Luck and Best Wishes to them both.

Nellie is a beautiful, short coat, sable girl with a trustworthy and kind temperament.

She is the daughter to Ekko (Rockforce) and Betty and she has an excellent working line pedigree and is bombproof.

She is owned, and bred, by her owner to be a brood female however, due to a change in work commitments, her owner has made a decision to find Nellie a new home.

She is searching for a forever home with an active outdoor loving family/couple as she loves her long walks.

Nellie is an entire female so she will not come with her KC papers until veterinary proof is produced to certify that she has been spayed.

Nellie lives at Wakefield, West Yorkshire

Piper & Bella
Piper and Bella have found a loving home together with a couple from Radcliffe Manchester and will be spending time away together in their new owners touring caravan.
We wish them both lots of fun and happiness together.

Piper and Bella are desperately trying to find a loving home together.

Piper is a beautiful Black and Tan, long-coated female with the most gentle and kind disposition.

She is excellent with dogs, cats and children (as the photos demonstrate).

Piper will be 6 years old in October and has a big connection to Rockforce stock, having Woody, Vadar and Saxon in her lineage.

Piper is inseparable from her best friend, Bella, who is a very gentle and kind German shepherd/Husky cross, who was rescued, by their present owners, when she was just 10 months old.

Piper and Bella are now searching for a new home through a change of personal circumstances with their owners and they are desperate to continue to be together.

Bella needs her “Best Friend”, Piper as she already has had a poor start in her life.

Both have been spayed and are fully house-trained.

These dogs are house pets only as they are not guard dogs they will not live well in a kennel situation.

If anyone could help these girls stay together and give them the continuous love and care that they have been used then they would certainly reward their new owners.

Piper and Bella live in Sale, Trafford, Greater Manchester and to learn more about them, please contact their owner:

Red
Great News
Red has been collected by an experienced family from Northamptonshire and we will update this page with further news on how he is settling in.
Red is a 22-month-old large, oversized black and tan, entire, long-coat male. He is desperately searching for a new forever home with a very active family/couple.

He is the son of our boy Woody and Ruby from Reed House Kennels.

He has been brought up with children but is a very boisterous and bouncy young adolescent boy. He has a very honest, kind and genuine nature, but does need an experienced handler to show him some general manners.

Unfortunately, his loving family have broken up and he has been returned to his breeders, in Warburton, Cheshire where he is finding life difficult living in a kennel situation.

Due to his large size, and boisterous manner, it is advisable that only experienced German shepherd handlers need to enquire as Red really does need a permanent, loving home environment.

Rosie
Great News
We wish Rosie, Pam and Toffee a very happy future together and I am sure that they will all have lots of fun and happiness together.

We arranged for Pam to meet Rosie and it was love at first sight. Toffee gave her the paws up and, on Wednesday, August 24, 2011, Rosie set off for her brand new life and home.

This is Rosie, she is 15 months old and is the daughter of Vadar and Taz.

As a small puppy, Rosie went to live with her new owners in Wythenshawe, Manchester.  The household is very busy and noisy, with 3 growing young boys. But, circumstances have now changed as a fourth baby is on the way and this has forced Rosie’s owners to make a decision on her future.

The family decided that Rosie needed to look for a new forever home, so they contacted Ann, the breeder, for her help and advice. Unbeknown to Ann, a wonderful lady, by the name of Pam, had contacted Rockforce in search of an older female German Shepherd to be a loyal friend to her and her lovely dog, Toffee.

Mum and Dad.

Rossi
Great News
Rossi has found a super home in Leigh, Lancs. Her new owner is delighted with how quickly she has settled in with her other 2 dogs. We all wish her well in her new life.

Rossi is not KC registered and has no connections with Rockforce Stud however, we know Rossi well and would like to help her find a forever home.

She is a 2-year-old and 4-month-old, spayed, red sable, long-coat girl who weighs around 28kg. She really is a people dog and is especially great with children and has a very kind and gentle nature.

She has an active life with her present owner and loves running through the woods and jumping in water (not too deep though). She is swift at chasing a ball and will play with other dogs.

Rossi is fully house-trained, but her owner has had to make the heart-wrenching decision to find her a new home as his young son is allergic to her and it is becoming increasingly difficult to juggle her around in the house when she is there. She is partial to any TV remotes that are left around and she is a house dog and would not settle as a kennel dog.

She has had a very content and happy upbringing and her sweet nature makes her ideal for a family pet. You can view Rossi on the below site.

http://www.youtube.com/user/Inchy1981/videos

Her owner will insist on knowing that she is safe and well-loved as this is really what she deserves.

This will be a painful time for the family so please only call if you have a serious interest in Rossi and can give her what her loving owners have already given her.

Rossi lives in Timperley, Altrincham, Cheshire and to find more information about Rossi please contact her owner:

Roxy
Roxy has now gone to live at Earlston, Scotland with Billy & Rachel and their Strettonhill German shepherd, Mikka. She is now going to be called Bella.
Best wishes to her and her new family.

Roxy is a delightful short-coat, black sable girl with a wonderful, sweet and kind nature.

She is a delightful puppy.

Roxy is the granddaughter of Ekko (Rockforce) and the daughter of Logan (Rockforce) and Nellie.

Roxy was born on Thursday 18th November 2021 and went off to live with her single owner in Wales.

Her owner adored Roxy and she made him very happy however, tragedy struck as Roxy’s owner died suddenly leaving Roxy home alone without her master to care for her and to feed her.

It was several days before the tragedy was discovered and Roxy was immediately collected by her breeder.

She has settled down after her traumatic experience and she is eating well again.

Roxy is house-trained and walks nicely on the lead and is bombproof around people and other dogs.

Roxy is looking for a forever home and to be as much loved as she was with her previous owner; who doted on her.

Roxy is presently with her breeder at Knottingley, Wakefield, Yorkshire and to learn more about her, please contact:

Mr Tony Drury

Sebie
Sebie has gone to live with Pat and Jeanette near Wrexham, North Wales. He has an acre of secure garden to romp around in and is having lots of fun and training.
Have a great time Sebie.

Sebie is a stunning, oversized, entire, sable, long-coat male.

He is the son of Kaz (Mysticrock) and Ekko (Rockforce).

Sebie has been returned to his breeders, at Campbeltown, Scotland as his family’s situation has changed whereby they are no longer able to keep him.

Sebie was born on 3rd March 2020 to Kaz and Ekko (Rockforce).

He is a gorgeous, entire, sable male who has a happy, exuberant personality and who always likes to join in the fun.

He is not guard dog material and would not suit living outdoors in a kennel environment as he has been raised in a busy family home.

He desperately needs a loving mature person/couple or a family, who have older children, who are experienced in handling  German Shepherds.

Because he is a ‘lockdown dog’ he can become anxious/reactive at strangers who insist on approaching him face-on and getting up close to him, resulting in him tending to lunge and nip if they get too close.

This is typical behaviour of a lockdown puppy who hasn’t experienced the normal social interaction skills that a puppy would normally experience.

He doesn’t react to people walking past him on a busy high street.

He is trustworthy and friendly around other dogs.

There are breeding endorsements on him that will not be lifted by the breeder.

Sebie is in urgent need of a new forever home as he will find it difficult to live in a boarding kennel environment.

For more information about Sebie please contact his breeders:

Storm
Ivy and Storm have gone to live together with Duncan and Sharon at Stretford, Greater Manchester.

We wish them lots of happiness, and fun, together. ♥️

Storm is searching for a new forever her due to a change in family circumstances.

Storm is a dark Black and Tan, heavy coat and is the daughter of Ivy (who is also searching for a forever home) and Logan (Rockforce).

She was born in April 2022.

Storm in very much like her mum in that she is sweet and kind but, can be nervous around strangers.

She has been raised in a very busy household with young children but, she hasn’t had much experience outside her family home environment.

Storm will need to be with previous experienced GSD owners who can nurture her and gently reassure her when she becomes worried.

It wouldn’t take her long to settle into a new routine as long as her new owners are patience and understanding.

There are breeding restrictions on her that won’t be lifted by the breeder.

Storm would not cope with living outside in a kennel environment and she isn’t suitable as a guard dog.

Storm lives at Solihull, The West Midlands and to learn more about her, please contact her owner:

He is NOT looking for a home to be a guard dog, he is a much-loved family pet.

He has lived with two smaller dogs and attends “Doggie Daycare” where he is happy with the staff and the visiting dogs.

However, as Teddy has grown, and become stronger, he has become very over protective with his owner and has started to show aggressive tendancies if anyone, especially men, approach her or the house, although he is a sweetheart away from her.

His owner is also an asthmatic and is her breathing is getting worse with him in the house.

We wish them all much fun and happiness together.

Teddy is a 12-month-old, black & gold, entire, long coat male with a super and trustworthy personality.

He is the son of Remy and Logan (Rockforce).

Remy is the granddaughter of Cruz (Rockforce).

The breeding restrictions will not be lifted on him and he is not suitable as a guard dog or to live outside in a kennel environment.

Zeus
Great News
A really happy ending for a deserving boy!
This is gorgeous Zeus, he is a 4-year-old, totally laid back, black and tan, castrated male with a lovely personality.

He is the son of Vadar and Zeta and unfortunately, through no fault of his own, he was searching for a new family to take him home and love him.

His owners had to make the heartbreaking decision to look for a new home for him as the pressure of work commitments was getting harder with the economic downturn.

There has been so much interest in Zeus and a tremendous number of enquiries that we have to update his story.

We are pleased to tell you that his trial has been a real success story.  He has a playmate too and they were buddies at first sight – another male German Shepherd.  On the day that he met his prospective new owners, he just wanted to play with his new friend and he spent some time getting to know his new family.  However, his first owners were worried that it might be difficult to get into a strange car, but his newfound friend jumped in and Zeus quickly followed and they all drove off into the sunset leaving some very sad first owners behind.

He loves his new home and his new owners just adore him.  We all wish Zeus every happiness in his new home where we know he will be well looked after and give his new owners and his playmate lots of affection and years of fun.

Here he is running free with his new Rockforce chum, Bailey, another of Vadar’s sons.

Zia
Lady and Zia have gone to their new, forever home, with Colin, and his family, from East Sussex.
Zia is having a ball with her newly made friends, Gunna and Yuka.
Looks like Colin and Nicky have their hands full with this boisterous trio.
Good luck to them all.

Zia is a beautiful, big-boned, black and gold long-coat girl with a very laid-back, gentle nature.

She is the daughter of Cruz (Rockforce) and Lady (Nightforce) and she was born at the end of April 2018.

Zia is a sweet natured puppy who is searching for a forever home due to a change of circumstances for her breeder/owner.

There are breeding restrictions on her which will not be lifted. She is being sold as a family pet only.

Zia has lived with her mum, Lady, since birth so she will be suitable to go to a home where there is another dog.

It would be wonderful if both Lady and Zia could be re-homed together but, if not, Zia would suit an active family home.

She is a family pet and is definitely not suitable as a guard dog.

Zia lives at Locking, Weston Super Mare, Somerset so, to learn more about her, please contact her owner:
